Hospital Overview

Hope Medical Centre is a private health service provider, a private hospital, registered 

and incorporated in The Gambia, with its first location in Brikama, West Coast Region, 

under the Business Registrations Act 2013 on the 23rd of November 2021. Hope 

Medical Centre is established with the primary aim of providing affordable and quality 

healthcare to Gambians and non-Gambians alike. The hospital is estimated to serve a 

reasonable number of outpatients in its first year of operation. Hope Medical Centre

will be a modern, envisioned to offer affordable, reliable, and high-quality medical care 

to the Gambian population, utilizing state-of-the-art diagnostics, medical, and surgical 

equipment. It will be staffed by a team of highly trained clinicians and healthcare 

professionals committed to patient-centered service delivery. The facility is designed 

to operate as a comprehensive healthcare centre, offering a wide range of services, 

including accident and emergency care, maternity and neonatal services, laboratory 

diagnostics, surgical procedures, intensive care, X-ray and imaging services, audiology, 

and ENT consultations. Additional amenities include private VIP rooms, paediatrics and 

adult admission wards, a dispensing pharmacy, a multipurpose conference room, and 

an in-house oxygen plant to ensure uninterrupted critical care. The clinic will also 

feature elevators for patient mobility and fully compliant infrastructure that aligns with
